Things to ponder

• If you do not crucify Self – Self will crucify Christ

• The Cross not only deals with our Evil - but it deals with our Good

• The guidance of the Holy Spirit tends constantly to the sacrifice of the flesh

• If the believer refuses to follow the Spirit of God on this path – He then renounces the Life of the Spirit and its glorious privileges

• We never accept the cross of Jesus Christ until we see how utterly worthless we are and then and only then does the cross become our glory

• Outward instruction will not produce a spiritual man – only God’s ax laid at the root of Self

• Some day Jesus Christ will be your all or He will be you or nothing

• For some Blessing is more important than sanctification

• We can not approach a Holy God – while we still embrace the world and sin

• God’s purpose in sanctification is to bring us to maturity

• Sanctification is how much of Christ has been and is being formed in you

• It is the fashion today to separate faith from ‘Life’ – as tho it were possible to have real faith in Christ and yet remain unlike Him in life

• "We can offer nothing to God Unitl we offer to Him ourselves as a Sacrifice"
